2 Rings In One Mcb
The house had one ring for the kitchen and one for the rest of downstairs.
2 rings in one mcb. Two rings into one 32a mcb. Discussion in electricians talk started by walter system jan 10 2014. You cannot put 2 circuits in 1 mcb 1 mcb cannot supply 2 circuits. If you mean for instance 2 radial socket circuits on one mcb.
And you find a damaged cable in the upstairs ring main. The new appliances had new radial lines from the meter with. Yes its fine as long as the breaker is selected for the protection of either cable and all other necessary values are met. One for the hall lounge and dining room and other for the kitchen.
Favorite add to extraordinary ring. So you ve got 3 ring finals spread over 2 breakers. Page 1 of 3 1 2 3 next walter system member. The board is fully populated with breakers.

While not immediatly dangerous in most cases each circuit should be connected to its own fuseway unlike a radial branched at the cu where it can be argued that its only one branched circuit as opposed to two the same argument can t be used for rings you can t branch a ring so its clearly two circuits on the same fuseway which isn t the correct way to do things and is a bodge.
There is probably nothing wrong with how the electrician combined the 2 ring circuits but i don t understand why he would. Totally disagree i have frequently repaired broken rings by down grading to a 20a mcb where access to cables is difficult. As long as the board is correctly labelled there is nothing wrong with this albeit it may not be ideal. The ring circuit now seems to be connected to just the one mcb and he has replaced the 10a mcb with a 25a one temporarily apparently until he sources a 20a one.
Two in a one ring reversible ottoman style oval cut black onyx and amethyst topaz 2 band woman ring all. I recently noticed that all downstairs circuits are now on a single 32 amp mcb 4 wires into a single mcb and the other mcb is now empty. Once you ve established that the mystery circuit is a ring you re going to have to get it sorted so if you really cannot get 4 conductors into 1 mcb you ll have to add another mcb into the cu or replace the cu or put a 2nd one along side it.
